Our June driving event is scheduled for Saturday, June 12th. We will meet at 9:00 a.m. for a brief drivers meeting (location TBD). We will be taking a scenic drive up the Natchez Trace to historic French Camp, Mississippi (Milepost 180.7). We will eat lunch at the Council House Cafe. They offer sandwiches made on their... homemade bread. For a complete menu and prices, please see Everyone will have a little time to tour the historic village to see how quilts are pieced together and how a family lived in the 19th century. There are several sights to visit including: the Colonel James Drane Home, Greenwood Leflore's horse-drawn carriage, a museum, and a gift shop.

From French Camp we will drive a little farther north to the Jeff Busby Site (Milepost 193.1) where we will drive to the top of Little Mountain, one of the highest points in the state. At 603 feet above sea level, you can see about 20 miles on a clear day. Afterwards, we will return to Jackson along the Natchez Trace and arrive by late afternoon.

We have invited a local Mercedes group to join us on this drive. We hope you'll come out to meet other European car enthusiasts.

Please reply if you will be able to attend so we can let the restaurant know how many to expect. We look forward to seeing you on June 12!!!
